If you've heard about weighted blankets but haven't tried one yet, you might be missing out on a simple way to improve your sleep. A quality weighted blanket applies gentle, even pressure across your body—a sensation that many people find naturally calming. The Wemore Sherpa Fleece Weighted Blanket brings that comfort in a thoughtfully designed package that's built to last.
Softness on Both Sides
This blanket features a dual-sided design with ultra-soft fleece on one side and plush Sherpa on the other, both in a neutral grey. You get to choose your texture depending on the season or mood—the fleece for a smooth touch, or the Sherpa for extra coziness. At 220 GSM on each side, the fabric feels substantial without being rough, and it resists common issues like pilling, fading, and shrinking.
Engineered for Stability and Quiet
The blanket's interior uses a 7-layer construction with premium glass beads sandwiched between double-layer polyester. This design keeps the beads from shifting or making noise as you move—so you get consistent weight distribution without the rustling that can disrupt sleep. The outer layers of fleece and Sherpa seal in that stability while adding softness.
Finding Your Right Weight
The 15-pound version is sized at 60" x 80" for queen beds and suits most adults. Experts suggest choosing a blanket around 8–12% of your body weight, so this works well for people in the 125–190 pound range. Keep in mind that it typically takes 3–5 days to adjust to the weight, so give yourself time before deciding if it's right for you.
Care is straightforward: wash in a commercial machine on a gentle cycle, tumble dry on low heat, and spot-clean for minor spills. The sturdy construction holds up well to regular use.
Whether you're looking to deepen your own sleep or thinking of a gift for someone who could use better rest, this blanket offers practical comfort without unnecessary frills. Check it out on Amazon to see the full details and color options available.
