Details: Q: Have you shortened it & how did you do it?

A: Yes, There's a "CUT" label near at the end of one side of the collar, the LED are in the part where you attach the collar ends. The clear plastic collar carries the light but there are no actual lights within it. When you shortened it, you'd better measured your dog neck and cut the right length and that's it then put it back or inserted it again!


Q: Does the charge port have a cover that is rubber or plastic? How water resistant is this?

A: The charge port cover is good plastic. And the collar is only splash proof, not water resistant.


Q: How far away can you see this light?

A: This Led Collar is so bright that you can see the dog at least 300 yards. But I wouldn't advise him to leave you so far.


Q: Can you turn them off?

A: Yes! There is a button on the collar. It has 4 settings: fast blink, slow blink, steady glow, off. You have to cycle through them but it's not too difficult.
